His academic journey continued with an Executive Program in Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and an Executive Program at the Kennedy School of Business at Harvard University. Lorenzo’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic School at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a Diploma in Computer Science from the Computer and Science Department at the University of Sao Paulo.
With over 30 years of experience, Lorenzo Madrid is a highly qualified senior consultant who has worked on a global scale. His career includes a decade at Microsoft Corporation, where he led IT project development and implementation for governments worldwide. Additionally, he has partnered with international software companies such as Cincom Systems, MPG, Online-Software, CF Software, Princeton Systems, MMDS, and EDGIX to develop and deploy IT systems for both public and private sectors. Lorenzo has held the prestigious position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, overseeing infrastructure solutions that provided internet access to 6,000 school communities, serving 6 million students and 300,000 teachers. His work extends to Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Eastern and Central Europe, where he has developed public policies and established relationships with government leaders.
